Aquaculture Interchange Program

The Aquaculture Interchange Program (AIP), funded through a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is an important conduit for information exchange on aquaculturebetween the U.S. and Asia, Australia, and Europe. AIP conductsworkshops in Honolulu where international experts gather to summarize and exchange current information critical to the growth of U.S. aquaculture. The information exchange coordinated by AIP is designed to highlight the availability and applicability of new technologies to increase productivity and efficiency within environmentally acceptable culture systems. Proceedings of the workshops are published as special issues of peer-reviewed journals or as books, and are available from the publishers.
